Who is Emily??

My name is Emily Stuebing. I’m a dual citizen of the U.S. and Germany who grew up an hour outside of Chicago (keep driving til you hit the corn fields and you’re there!)

Last year, I graduated from college after changing my major about 39298935 times. Finally, I landed on Spanish and Creative Writing after a long stint with Biochemistry and a few other sciences.

I’ve done neuroscience research, coached Special Olympics, done a medical internship in Germany, taught English in Chile, conducted bioinformatics research in Switzerland, played the ukulele and sung at fundraisers…and that’s just the tip of the iceberg of the random things I’ve done.

Long story short, I could never make up my mind! (Raise your hand if you can relate, all you fellow indecisive people).

BUT, the one common element has always been TRAVEL.

I got to put my experiences abroad on my resume and they helped me get my current job as a Medical Interpreter–finally, something that put all of my skills together!

Sure, travel is great for those common things we know it for: vacation, study abroad, etc. But I want to show you what all travel can do for you!

Whether you’re taking a week-long trip or moving abroad, I want to help you make the most of every last trip. Check out my blog posts for advice about mixing touristy and local activities for the most all-encompassing trip of your life.

Feel free to shoot me an email if you’re looking for tips and tricks about living and working abroad or about how to score your dream internship in YOUR field from ANYWHERE in the world.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
